After i have a bit of a drive (say 10 minutes) then leave my car for awhile and drive a few metres then put my foot on the brake and come to a stop, i can hear a metal on metal knock. It sounds like a lower wishbone is loose in its mounts and moves around. It also only sounds like it is coming from the drivers side and makes no either weird or unusual noises while driving around.


What can it be?

Maybe it's lower control arm bushes. Have a look around and use the search function. There is tonnes of stuff there about them.
