| After a long time spent trying to get the wheel locks off of my stock rims, i have finally got the new ones on. Gave it a wash and took some pics.

| Nice! One question though, did you really need the park assist pole to park in what appears to be relatively open space? |

| HAHAHAHA That's one of the few things that doesn't work on my car and i will be removing it shortly when i get the bumpers resprayed in the spring. Right now it is stuck in the upright position. |

| Good, because I was too polite to point out that even with the pole, you were about 6 feet away from the kerb. |

| Yeah, the house is right on a major river valley, and we have about 2 acres of nicely tree'd land it's a beautiful place to live. There is a vacant lot right beside us on one side and a field on the other so no one is really very close. Right now it's autumn so all the trees are changing colors, I think that this afternoon i'll go take some pictures at a few places near my house. It's really a picturesque area. |

| The car is starting to come along nicely, removal of all the little japanese bits that weren't desired such as the curtains in the back window and the crazy antennae's, all the stickers and such. I fixed the blinky dash, polished a lot of little marks off of the paint, now i've gotten the new rims and tires on as well. I'll be doing the BFI sometime in the near future, as well as an exhaust mod. I have my parts guy looking for the body update with the oem side skirts and rear bumper lip as well as replacing the black rubber front lip with the painted fibreglass one. I may lower the car about and inch or so but I'll first see how it does through the winter. Then I'll also be tinting it properly sometime soon. Then my stereo, the grounding kit...the list goes on. |

That's not a driveway, I've seen driveways before; They're long, narrow and basically useless. What you've got there is a donut pad!! |

| Hahaha, yeah it's a parking assist pole. Stuck in the current position though. It'll be coming off soon enough. Hmmm. donut pad... Sounds good to me. Good to meet you in person Sean, i ended up booking the car for tinting next week thursday so that should be another major visual change. And when i get time the calipers and rotor hubs will be painted as well. It's a work in progress but it will all be worth it in the end. Good luck with your car too Sean, whichever one you get. |

| I'm thinking that they will look even better after the windows are tinted which should be happening next week thursday. That and the calipers will be red. It's coming along. |

haha yeah first thing that came to mind was damn where's that in Australia cause it reminds me so much of Canada....Then I saw his username, he's from Alberta. Seems like a lovely place man, I'm due to goto Canada in a few years can't wait. Awesome looking wheels man, good work ! |

| Haha, yeah my posts look like i work a night shift but for me they're all in the middle of the day. Canada is a terrific place and i'm lucky to live in a particularly beautiful part of it. I'm getting my tint done tomorrow morning so yet one more thing taken care of and one more step in the direction I want to take with this car. Thanks for the compliments on the wheels. I'm really happy with them, it was a bit of an odd situation buying them but it worked out better than the original plan. I had planned on some different rims but they ran out of stock so I got a deal on these and in retrospect, I like them better than my original choice.

| I didn't want to put chrome on. Although it looks good sometimes, it seems a bit too common around here. I figured that these would contrast with the paint nicely and the car is being tinted as I type and I figure that should bring the look of the car to another level. |

| Good decision on no chrome. I like your wheels, and the paint looks really good in that last pic. Now get yourself a nice set of coilovers and lose the antenna on the bumper and it'll look real sharp. Coming along so far, keep modding and keep us updated with pics! |

| Damn, the modding bug is starting to catch. Now I'm thinking about some of Lew's famous dumps, then with the exhaust mod I'm doing I'll probably get a decent amount of boost creep. So I'll need a FCD. Then because of the extra boost my turbo's will probably go, so I'll then have to steel wheel them. I'll also have to do a shift kit to preserve the transmission. And an Torsen LSD to deal with the extra power. The factory late model side skirts will probably happen eventually too. Darn i don't think it will ever end. ... Anyways... |
