I had my compressor fixed 6 months ago and finally put it on the soarer. After connecting the it up and starting the engine, the compressor is not turning on and pumping up the front airbags? I wired a battery straight to the black and blue wire on the compressor to get it to pump, which it did, but it is still not pumping up the bags. What is going on. The car did sit fully deflated at the front for 9 months, but I dont think that should have effected anything.

Use diagnostic suspension connector in the boot to connect power to pump and solenoids to check that all are working. You can pump each individual strut up and down from here.

Hi Mark, Can you explain the 'diagnostic suspension connector' function in the boot, and how do you do it? My suspension is low on the drivers side and generally won't pump up all time! Cheers

Read the wiring diagrams.
The very first plug on the air suspension wiring diagram is the suspension diagnostic connector ('A'). This connector has pins for +12v, 4 airbag solenoids, vent solenoid, pump solenoid and the pump. Connect airbag solenoid to be adjusted to 12v. To lower connect vent solenoid to 12v. To raise connect pump solenoid to 12v and then connect pump to 12v. Only connect one strut solenoid at a time for the front. Both rears can be connected but not with a front one (all the air from the front strut will go straight to the rear as there is heaps more weight and pressure on the front stuts). Easy. If the suspension is not turned OFF the system will bing at you from the dash and have heaps of error codes. If it is turned off it will still bing at you and tell you that suspension is OFF.
Any settings made WILL NOT BE RETAINED; when the car is driven it will do whatever the height sensors and computer tell it to.
