Having just fitted an after market height control to my Limited V8 and adjusting it to what I want, I have a question.
The factory controller is now set on 'high' because I had the car as low as it would go by adjusting the screws. The question is: Will the ride quality be the same for any given height (that is, higher is softer and lower is harder) or will adjusting the screws back up to where they were as standard and then lowering with the after market height control make any difference?

Interesting question, I have same set up & have had for some time. Recently did all the bushes + a whole bunch of other stuff under the car. Still trying to get back to my original two prefered heights at the OEM switches. i.e Normal/Sport about 30mm above tyre (18"30s) which is what I drive in all the time & Height/Normal which I had set at about 110mm above tyres (have two mates with ultra step gravel/dirt & potholed driveways) Those two driveways stop everyone other than 4x4's & my car from driving up to there houses (even stock Falcons & Commdr's cant get in)so I loved having the ability to "Rise above" the S..T

Mike,
I recently did the same thing - I can't say that the ride is noticeably harder when I have it on the lower setting. I did notice that not having had the front end set up to my preferred lower setting did chew the inside of my tyres though. I would suggest that you find the setting that most suits you and get the front end set up to suit - especially if you have a good set of front tyres. I have just put a pair of SP9000's on the front. $$$ to replace!

Everytime you alter the ride height, Wheel alignment specs are out the window :-)
