Ball joints (rear)

While I was doing a partial brake fluid draining (taking off the wheels and loosening the bleeding screws) I noted that the upper rear suspension arm ball joint boot (rubber cover, rear right) was leaking grease out of the edges at the bottom of the rubber boot. The boot doesn’t look damaged although the grease seems to escape at the edges. What should I do? Can it be repaired? Do I need to order a new upper control arm? Is it safe if I drive under these conditions for a while? Comments highly appreciate it.
