I don't know what's so difficult about finding the sponsored links.

Wonder why you don't just have some logo flashing down the bottom saying something like "Sponsors". Enough room down there for a gif of some sort. Or move it to the top. Or put in to the right of the eye candy. Or, or, oar, row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream..........

Maybe the banners don't draw enough attention to themselves as they are not the usual banner size.
