So whats the weight distribution of a n/a Soarer? If I swap in a 2JZ-GTE into my JZZ31, does that make me have the same weight distribution as a TT Soarer?

Probably the 2jz-gte is even a touch heavier than the 1jz-gte though so it may even be worse!

the best things you can do is put the battery in the boot(my factory one was 18kg!) and replace that 26-27kg bonnet with a fibreglass one 6-7kg. still doesn't get you close to a jza80 at 50/50 balance, but this is the place to get good gains first up.

Can you tell me how you hooked up the battery from the boot? I'm wondering if i should just buy a Seibon CF Bonnet, or get one custom made ...

Left and right weight distribution is really more important, especially if you do not have ABS... less lockups under severe braking and less rocking at the apex of the corner.

If you want 50/50 front and rear get fully adjustable shocks and some scales that can handle 500kg each and balance your car that way.

any auto electrician can do the battery in the boot for you. my soarer doesn't have it, but my project car does. the cables are run on the inside of the car, under the carpet. securing the battery needs to be done properly.

How does one go about balancing left/right without using CF doors, etc. along with front and rear weight distribution, basically all around distribution? Doesn't Soarer's have ABS? My SC has ABS, but no Traction Control :-(

Take it to a suspension specialist who can weigh all 4 corners of the vehicle (ask 1st). But you must have fully adjustable shock absorbers installed first.

I assume from your need to fully balance the car and lighten it that you are entering your vehicle into competitive racing. Otherwise it's a waste of money, effort and time for a road going vehicle.
