Hi All,

I got my soarer serviced recently and my mechanic saw that the rear inner drive shaft boot (seal) is split and needs to be replaced.

I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction in finding a replacement part.

Thanks

Tried your local Toyota dealer? Unfortunately with the un-commonness of these cars and the fact that they weren't Australian delivered, aftermarket parts are hard to find, or mediocre quality.

I'm sure someone will pipe in with the part numbers soon!

That part number looks like it's for the entire shaft, but from that you should be able to get a boot kit.

It's almost like CV shafts, where you can order new booties when the other split, and if you get to them before the grease leaks out, you save the shaft from perminant damage as well.
