| I'm finally getting my hot little hands on a Torsen Type 2 LSD, which with a little luck might hopefully rock up before the end of the week. But I'm going to need it installed somewhere. Mainly cause I can't be stuffed doing it myself and I'd rather the responsibility lie on someone that knows what there doing. I've already had 2 quotes: Gary got me one from Manta (cheers gary) and I've had one from Precision Has anyone had one installed in Adelaide or any idea where I can get it done? |

| If it took Neil two hours I'd allow a full day and think seriously about doing the bearings while it's all apart. There's tutorials and plenty of information if you spend a few minutes searching. Always start with the filler plug is worth remembering with Diff's Oliver, to quote your profile "if i cant break it. it must be un breakable" is not the best sales pitch to fill Ashley with confidence although $200 is probably the lowest quote he'll see. |

So I'll pay...

Actually I will. Manta - $700(ish) Precision - $300 So you can guess who I'll be going with. Bearings will be replaced as well. Cheers for the offer Oliver but I might pass if you like to break things. |

| My bad, I thought you got a whole pumpkin! Is precision the one on Port Road? Just wondering coz they said they wouldn't do that job on a soarer, they seem to not like anything other than falcodores. |

| Certainly is. They didn't see a problem doing mine, just mentioned that MV Auto sent me in there direction and they have been nothing but helpful. Still up for suggestions though |

| Assuming the bearings are Toyota James, and they they will fit my pumpkin I'm all for it! Mustafa Akgul wrote on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 - 07:22 pm:$150 in sydney...
Unfortunately it would cost me more than $150 in petrol to get to Sydney, so I guess I'm stuck paying $300 unless anyone knows anywhere else. Although it could be an excuse for a road trip, me and the Soarer LOVE road trips. |

| If Precision are happy to do it, go there. A mate of mine gets all his diffs done there (the worked off its nut HSV we chatted about on sunday) and he is quite happy with them. They do decent work but can get a tad finiky about what they work on. |

| Sweet Precision it is. When the center show up and I manage to get my ass into gear to get new bearings etc it's a done deal. They guy I spoke to was really nice and helpful. They can also give my trans a service while there at it... it's due. |

| I thought it was self explanatory, but now i will expand it for the easy ones Ben said " a mate of mine gets all his diffs done there". To which i was saying, If they are such a good workshop, why dont they build him a diff setup that will last??? That makes more sense now hey? SOrry i was very ill last night and medication probably didnt help... Your lucky i didnt write something about judgement day or how cute fairies are |
