Yeah, much cheaper and a damn site more effective than the Ikeya arms I bought. It doesn't weaken the subframe, except that there is about 3 grams less aluminium in it. So I guess it does, but me smashing the car around racetracks is a lot more punishment than any streeter will ever endure.
You could try MVP/Titan/Daizen in the US. I tried to buy a set from their online stores, but all I ever got was excuses. I think that Diazen make them and MVP and Titan rebadge/repackage them because it was a littel strange they all ran out of stock simultaneously. They would be exactly what you are after Michael, as they are marketed as a "camber correction kit" for heavily lowered Lexus SC400s.

yes they are.
Those look like the ebay specials that were being sold a few years ago, except they are now painted a very similar colour to the Ikeya Formula arms. Coincidence...?
No one I have ever heard of has fitted them so there is very little feedback on them. There were plenty of concerns about their strength, but I don't think anyone ever fitted them to find out.

After you buy these i think supercheap auto have a set of brake pads for $8. Trust your life or other peoples with them too? Brakes, tyres and suspension should never be cheaped out on. Sorry if i sound at this but seriously guys i get so many people bringing there cars in at work broken on towtrucks after something has failed with sub par items installed and you just wonder what value they put on their lives and others because that item was 60% of the price. If, i repeat.. If.. These are tested and found to be strong and well made then id probably even look at a set for the racecar.

1st thing i can see is no seal on rose joints. So would flog out in no time if a bit of grit or water gets in it. If someone is going to purchase these see if they have seals available and are replacement parts available for when they do give out.

Ok my brother who has been a heavy vehicle mechanic for 13 or so years had a look under my car and thinks he will be able to knock up some lower control arms quite easily.
He just needs a doner lower control arm that will be sacrificed in the process, so if anyone has one they are willing to say goodbye to for a good cause, please let me know so we can get this thing happening!

you can get them bloody cheap if you look around. By now every set will have the bushes flogged out, and the easy option is to buy another second hand set whose bushes are marginally less flogged out so there should be plenty in NSW for sale cheap.
I have a pair, but they are going into a spare car today so I can move it. In a couple of months I could give you a pair, but postage from SA would be the killer. (more than the cost of the arms locally)
If I can sort something out for you, I'd expect first option on whatever he comes up with.

Just thought I'd see if anyone has some lying around not being used, that can be put to good use for everyone here, I know there is a bit of interest...
I can't wait to get some traction
By the way postage for anything is ridiculously cheap these days, I had a pair of coilovers sent to Syd from Melboune and it was like $15 or something, and a complete twin turbo setup with all manifolds and y-piece from QLD I'm pretty sure was around $20.
Yeah for sure mate if you can help out then of course you'd be at the top of the list

Is he talking about making them adjustable?
Postage (freight) for my twin turbos alone from here to Brisbane was well over $50. The arms are pretty heavy.
I have the lower arms in the (new) spare shell at the moment. I want to weld up some casters to the chassis of the shell, and then the suspension can come out. Don't know if that will be this month, or in a couple of months. It all depends on the race car and what work has for me.

As discussed Matt, I'd happily pay $500-600 for front lower control arms that get me more neg camber. If this is a reasonable price for a limited run, then count me in straight away.
If you don't get the interest I'd pay a little more for a very limited run.
Might need to get the rest of the gang in the track car section interested. A lot don't post elsewhere on the forum.
