Hi Guys,

I just want to find out if the factory wheels of a Skyline R34 GT-T would fit my 94' JZZ31?

Wheels are F/R 17 x 7.5 JJ (+40 Offset)
Tyres F/R 225/45 R17

JZZ31 should have +50 offset correct? and these Skyline wheels should clear my brake calipers alright?

Thanks

They should clear the calipers on a JZZ31. I tried some on my old Soarer TT and they were skimming the calipers.

Thanks for the instant reply.

Do you have any pictures? What about clearing the strut housing?

How well do they align with Soarer's guards? Height is not a problem as I have stock suspension, but not sure if they would sit too much inside or outside the guards and look silly.

+40 offset on a 7.5 inch wide rims should look pretty normal just a bit further out than the stocker. I have a 9 inch wide rim with a +42 offset and they fill the guards flush with 275 rubber on them.

I have some 8" rims with 40 offset, no problems with guard clearance there either. I currently have 8" with 50 offset fitted, and they leave a guards a tad empty after the 40's. That extra 10mm offset looks nicer, though the 50's reduce the tramlining a bit.

I think I have the Skyline wheels on my UZZ31. Will try and get some pictures for you to show you what it looks like. Mind you, I'm not sure which Skyline model these rims came off but they definitely fit.

Sorry mate, no pics... the wheels lasted for a good 10 minutes before they came off again lol.

That was with R33 wheels too by the way. AFAIK they clear the suspension, just the calipers skimmed a little bit on the TT brakes.
