Hey guys,

Put these wheels on during the week, thought I'd get some pics up. These are the Zenetti's that Patrick Chan was selling.
The front right tyre is rubbing on the guard when I do a sharp turn left, but im not sure how to fix it as my side mount intercooler is in the way of pushing my guard back further. Any pointers? And what you think of the wheels and my car??

Looks great mate :-)

Roll the guards a bit maybe? doesn't cost much, but do it properly. I have seen some bad ones.

Is is scrubbing the wheel arch liner? Reason I ask is that it doesn't look that close to the metal.

I had the same rubbing issue with my guards I simply trimmed them on the inside where they were rubbing.

I know exactly what you are talkign about caus i got it on mine. I have a hybrid front mount kit on my soarer and it is where the pipe from the turbos goes through the side of the engine bay infront of the tyre, it holds the plastic guard back and the tyre rubs on it. As for a solution i havent found one yet unless i lift the front back up a little cause i cant get any difference by moving the pipes around in their joiners

I just got my guards rolled today. The fronts turned out real nice, the rears had a little bit of paint flaking off (but not to bare metal... just exposing the undercoat. Lotsa space now though.

I got 20's on with no rubbing at all, not even on full lock and guards are not rolled either. Yes the car is lowered too.

Shane I'll get some pics up tomorrow for you. It cost me $160 for all 4 guards to be done (guards heated first and done with a proper guard roller).

The rubbing is just on the inside black plastic in front of the tyre where the side mount sits.

I was thinking the only solution would be to get a front mount, but im not sure. There must be something I can do lol.

Im loving the wheels, more grip, and a hell of a lot more head turners!!

I'll get some pics up by this arvo, gonna go wash the car so I'll bring the camera with me.

Muz, I had my guards rolled at Drift Garage in Ingleburn. Louis (the guy that rolled the guards for me) is a nice bloke to deal with and lets you hang around while he's doing his thing.

... and the rears. Had a little bit of paint flaking off but down to undercoat only. What's the best DIY to fix it up?

Plenty of space now with these wheels, hopefully they'll clear the ones I've got coming in (I hate waiting...).
