I'm after a set of king springs and shocks all round, preferably fitted, does anyone know a cheap place on the Gold Coast or Brisbane, prices or quotes would be good.

I will also be taking out a good set of Cusco adjustable coilovers and shocks, due to the firm ride if anyones interested.

If you're after a more stockish ride then you might want to getting some KYB GR2's from the states via ebay. Works out to about half the price (well the prices I was quoted at least!).

for cheap king springs $120each then just post it out. Cheapest place I've found. Dont know how ride is on king springs though?

I got some kingsprings installed when i got all my bushed etc done at FULCRUM.

The ride is actually quite good, not painful hard but obviously more firm, perhaps due to the Soarer's weight.

$165 a pair RETAIL from REPCO

I got my front and rears for $250 (repco) also they dont sell SUPER LOWS... only LOWS.

So dropped my car 1.5" onto my 19s

I have the 19s in the WIDE pack. So 9.5" on the back (265s)

Sometimes, but not usually unless its a killer driveway. My cooler actually hangs bout 1cm lower than my lip and sometimes the bracket bolts scrape and sometimes my low exhuast....
but not really a drama if you 'drive to the conditions...'

thanks guys, the exhaust does get a fair few looks... perhaps 4 cannons was overkill but i love it ! haha

Yeh the king springs were a good option in my opinion, a good compromise between sport and cruising. Mind you - like with all aftermarket suspension it pays to simply adjust your driving technique and avoid those lovely pot holes that seem to be taking over Australian roads.


Enjoy them mate and post up some pics when you get them sorted
