18's, probably a JDM wheel and on low offsets (will suit the colour well hehe).

Muz, did you notice any difference in driving with the spacers on? Looks great beefed out like that.

Yeah it's great to get other idea's, just start scrolling through memeber's profile's and send them a PM if you fancy their rims....

No not circuit racing, I just prefer driving with lighter rims instead of heavy 19's.

I still have the volks, but they are 17" and I was either 18" or 19", plus the rims I have don't have any dish on them.

Is there any other questions?

You prefer to drive with lighter rims, hhmmmm.... Now you have me completely stumped. Now I understand that offset, width, size of rim, size of tyre etc can drastically change the dimentions of how a car rides, and I know this becuase I have gone through 4 sets of rims on my car, 16's 18's 19's and currently have 20's, but as for weight, seriously come on??

I have driven many forum members cars, each with different manufacturers (both from Australian and Japanese manufacturers as well), sizes of rims now I'm no professional, I did notice ride characteristics to be very different again becuase of both tyre/rim combinations and suspension setups, but your excuse is totally lame....

And yes for the record, I have driven a soarer with light weight rims, I think they were Eneki those 3 spoke ones, they were supposed to weigh a total of between 5 - 8kgs each apparently and noticed no difference at all, but then again, I'm no Peter Brock either....

But thats ok Dreaming is Free so I will leave it at that.....

Reducing unsprung weight is usually a good thing for handling, braking, acceleration and fuel economy - particularly with wheels, which are under high centrifugal loads. You might not feel it, but it'll be making some small difference.

Sorry I didn't know I need to justify everything I say on these forums. Can I please have your permission to buy a set of lightweight wheels?

Maybe we should have a section on the forums where we have to run everything by you before we are allowed to post anything.

I think nissansilvia.com is looking for another wanker on their forums, go join up there and add your 2 cents!

Mate get a life instead on starting arguments on the forums, or do you get pleasure from it?

You don't need my permission, I just want to find out where you logic is?? Seriously I don't understand and I would call this a DEBATE... No need for comments like below

I am not attacking you in any way shape or form, I have given my knowledge or different circumstances, and would like to know SERIOUSLY how you will tell the difference between lightweight and normal rims on your car on the street.

But on your comment above attacking me this is all I have to say....

Obviously you have no idea why lightweight rims will benefit you than any other rims (probley becides maybe looking better), so you go and attack me to make yourself look and feel clever, well good on you, becuase your the perfect candidate wheel and tyre shops look out for, so I hope you get your light weight rims and get completely fcuking ripped off becuase knowing you, more than likely you will go out, spend 3 to 4k on light weight rims, then wrap them up in some tyre that will cost you $100 a tyre because now your out of money so you opt for something cheap you can afford, and more than likely destroy them 3 months down the track and scratch you head and post up on the forums, OH CRAP MY 4K WORTH OF RIMS ARE DESTROYED, CAN I GET THEM FIXED ANYWHERE.

I'm sorry but for you being a Arsehole on here and not knowing how to DEBATE my enquires to you on a public forum, you deserve everything that comes to you.

You might need to direct this question at yourself before you asked me, I'm not the one trying to argue here, I'm just trying to get a answer out of you which obviously you have no idea about.....

Thank you Matthew for your feedback, thats all Patrick needed to answer but obviously had no idea about. Wake up to yourself Patrick and have a reason for your purchase......

Haha good one mate, but your the one who attacked me over my choice of wheels I am buying for my car, if you call that positive input. Then think again.

Gee you make me laugh buddy! How would you know my financial situation, yet you act like you know everything about me. I take it being a Photocopier Technician, your rich as?

Don't forget your the one who hijacked this thread.

Mate I don't need to justify anything to you, if thats what your on here to do. Then your wasting your time.

You are absolutely pathetic, now how is that not observation on my behalf?? I looked at your profile, saw your car on the dyno, and said as stated above, you fcuked up, you should have kept your 19's. (ding a personal opinion on my behalf considering you were after opinions won't you??)

I don't, nor did I ever act like I did, so I don't know where you got that from??

I never expected you to justify anything to me, obviously the reason why I was asking you in the first place still hasn't sunk in. And here goes again, What's the purpose of buying light weight rims?? You had no reply (obviously you have no idea why you wanted them becides and I can only guess wank factor?? You have ruled out circuit racing, so what makes light weight rims better over anything else??

I have the answer now because of Matthew, so there is no point of discussing it because he probley answered your query about light weight rims too.

Your too thick to understand I was asking you a legitiment question which you couldn't obviously answer, and took another member to answer...
