Hey I need to get new rear tyres on the back of my soarer. I have near new falken ze329 on front and worn out ze326 on back. I wanted to get Falken Ze329 (about $300 per tyre fitted because my size has to be ordered) but my boss can get me a good deal on Nankang NS-2's ($200 ea fitted) as he knows guy that owns tyre shop.
Now I'm weary of anything that rhymes with ching, chong or chang so anyone with experience with these tyres please tell me if they are any good or not?
Please no estimations only people with experience with them. Also a quick reply would be great as I may be getting them fitted today.

yep used them on a 20inch rim and 16inch rim and prooved to be very noisy.. Totally sh!t house in the wet directional type of tyre, very hard compound i found and tram lining to the next level on the front so if you just want it on the rears for now may be ok but i reckon go the falcons again thats what i have done 275/35/18 but mine are the z426 good tyre would risk havin cheapo tyres on my car again not worth writing a car off i reckon as i have done that too with these damn Nangkangs on James Johnson can vouch for that one. hahahhaha

I reckon Nankangs are awesome.
I was impatient last time i bought tyres and bought a brand called Nexen. Nexen are totally crap i would rate them about 4 outta 10 where as the Nankangs i would rate about 7.5 outta 10. I found the Nankangs nice and grippy in the dry and the wet.
As for Falken i will never buy them again, i found them to be the worst tyre in the wet and not that great in the dry.

I had Yokohama's on my car originally and they were a 6/10, then got a set of Nangkang NS2's and they were a 7/10 and now running Khumo's and they score a dismal 5/10.

Yep.Nankings NS2's for me, great value for money, good grip, they seem slightly noisy now once they start to wear down. But i just have the music higher. But noise ! don't get Bridgestone Grid 2's,you wont hear your Exhaust.

nankang ns2 here also
great in the dry, in the wet
i have 235s at the front and 275s at the rear, and in the wet the back end steps out as soon as you give it some poke. dont overtake anyone in a hurry in the wet and you should be fine

Me too. I got the Nankangs on - very grippy but may just be because they are new. I couldn't get ANY wheelspin. I will see how they go in the wet and over the next few 1000 k's.
They even helped me flog a Z4 last night, oh that felt good...

i concur with the nexens comment. I have a set on my car (came with it, dont wanna replace until i have to) and they arent too great in the wet.. i dont think they clear alot of water, but they are brilliant in the dry.

I've got the NS-2's front & rear, and they are definately great bang for buck. But yes, in the wet, give her a bit of poke and the rear's all over the place.....but good fun as long as you can control her!
