Hi All,
I own a 1992 SC400 GTL,and I am currently in contact with a tyre shop, who is saying a set of 19" 114.3 +38 offset (8.5" wide on all 4's) will fit under my GTL's guards without rubbing. I was wondering if anyone has issues with a +38 offset 19" rim rubbing on their guard? Also, could anyone post any side on pics of their 19's with +38 offset if possible? I thought the soarers had to be a +50 offset.
I have airbag suspension and I will be lowering it 1-2" lower than the 'normal' button setting on the suspension, so that there is minimal gap between the tyre and the guard.

With 8.5" all around you will be fine, I have 9.5" on the rear with lowered springs and mine rubbed / slammed on the guards on any slight bump in the road.
Here is a pic of the ride height so you can get an idea of how it is.
