After replacing front LCA bushes, front sway bar bushes and shocks all round, i still have a "clunk" in the front end somewhere. It sounds like the driver side like something is loose. Whenever i drive over a short sharp bump i get a clunk. I'm pretty sure it's not the bump stops, because it doesn't take a major hit to make the noise. When i had the suspension assessed, they told me it needed bushes and shocks, but ball joints etc were fine. After the work was done they said it was great and drove like new, but it still has the noise.
Anyone experienced this? Help please!

I have heard of loose brake caliper bolts causing this problem Adam. Check just to make sure.

Adam, just curious, was it just one bump or did it sound repetitive? like the lazerlite on the pagola sounded in the wind today?

i was thinking it was the sump guard vibrating against something else...but it aint... was this what yours sounded like and if so how do you tighten the callipers?
