Just got a call from the shop!!!! it's fixed already and they came in under quote! The hub needed to be straighted within the spokes, a dent on the inside edge fixed, a crack on the end of the dent was welded then the rim was machined and balanced. then repainted. All for 113 dollars, these guys are champs!

These guys are amazing. Had a Maseratti wheel in the shop with a ridiculous replacement cost that they were working on too. They get wheels from all over canada and turns out Dale that they actually repair the bad ones for Wheel works.

Yeah things have turned out well, i got the rubber back on the car and there was no issue balancing the wheel. Now everything is back to normal on the car.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I buckled a wheel in two places in a 'driving incident' (private roads of course). I took it to one place and they took one look and didn't want to touch it, so I spent a few days moping around thinking I'd have to get a whole new set of wheels, since they are 3 piece forged rims from Japan and finding a match would be impossible... then in passing, someone mentioned this other place so I went there, and they were like 'no worries, come back in a week ' Should cost around AUD$120 for the fix.
