They both appear to be correct for the JZZ30 and are 10,000 Yen cheaper than the same TRD one ( model No. is the same) that is listed for the Soarer.

Well looks like I'll go the TOMEI over the TRD why? dunno seems like a good idea, get oil withit has 10 plates per side and some new fancy material on the plates that's sposed to make it quieter and smoother.

Mark- why is that? I would have thought that a proper aftermarket job would be better than a factory LSD? Or is it just that the Torsen is easier to live with?

The Torsen is a completely different style of LSD and in my opinion better than any other. It is an American design and I assume Toyota buy from them or make them under license...either way an extremely unusual thing for Toyota to do which indicates they rate the Torsen very highly.

i had a kaaz 1.5 way in my old 1991 jzz30 hooks up well car would squat down then take off ,backing up car while turning you could hear the plates in the diff clattering other then this it was fine

Thanks guy's, but I found a torsen center and had it fitted. Bolted it back into the car yesterday.
