That's sounds fair to me. Don't worry about sending the money back. Use what you need to send the unrepaired acc's back via registered air mail, that way you get a tracking number. Whatever money is left over consider it a donation to your acc rebuilding venture, or buy a few beers with it.

Last Sunday I fitted a set of Peter T's re-manufactured accumulators. They fitted perfectly, and after going through the usual procedures of filling the system with the suspension fluid, they are working great, in fact I would go so far as to say they are brilliant. The ride is again smooth with none of the traditional active harsh ride or bounce. Peter T has been nothing less than professional with our business dealings and I would have no hesitation in dealing with him again.

Apart from the mild entertainment value, you aren't doing yourself any favours with your recent posts.

Well I just spoke to Phil Rose who is the managing director of Powers Fasteners Australasia. He was very concerned that Peter Taplin was using the name and address of Powers Fasteners Australasia to commit acts of criminal fraud and operate scams from. You see, Peter Taplin works for a large nuts & bolts company as a lowly IT guy and Powers Fasteners Australasia Pty Ltd are not happy that their good company name has being implicated in a scam and fraud by one of their employees.

I've seen many scams on forums. This does not appear to be one. You're getting communication and he has even said he's sending you a fresh set out of his pocket.
The guy does a service for the community and I'd say you've just stopped that. Fair enough if it was a scam, but that's not confirmed.
And messing with a man's job is low. Really low. Almost as low as threatening his wife.
Mail gets lost. Mail takes time. I have had huge boxes go missing for months and months. Some altogether. Deal with it. He gave you his phone number. Did you call him?
He's dealt with many of the most respected members on this forum. Who are you? Some guy who is blowing hard about travelling around the world to beat up his wife, and wrecking his job. Great. |

Where oh where did I threaten his wife? I’m threatening him not her. I don’t give a flying floppy tit about his wife, she never ripped me off, he did.
He does a service for the community? Have you used his service? I say he is bringing the community into disrepute and should be culled from the gene pool.
I’m messing with his job? He messed with my bank account and Soarer. One dog act deserves another.
Yes I have contacted the guy and all I got was BS; and as soon as he got my money, (over $1000), he closed his email account. He has not sent a tracking number as promised nor has anything arrived as promised almost 3 months ago. The guy is a fraudster and a criminal and I feel it’s my moral duty to make sure he never screws anyone over again, and that’ s exactly what I’m going to do. Watch what happens. So stick that in your Bel_Air and smoke it.  |

The managing director of the company Taplin works for who I was just talking to thought it was a bit strange that taplin's email account suddenly bounced and ask Taplin why and got some bullshit story also.
Phil Rose MD also gave me the name on the guy that is responsible for Taplin. This is going to be fun. Like reeling in a groper jaw hooked on 100lb line.

He did try and help us all with the UZZ32 struts.
All you are doing is stopping him from helping me and other here in Australia. Just because the post or freight company lost them, this is out side Peter hands. Then I know he got another set for you too. How hard is it to find another set!
If I had to take sides I will stand up for Peter as he did he's best for the club and you too.
So please take it out on the post or freight company who lost them!
Peter Taplin keep the good work up if you read this!
