Hey guys,
I have two 17*8.5 and two 17*9.5 rims on my car, currently with 235/45/zr17s on the front and 255/40/zr17s on the back. I was wondering if it's acceptable to ditch 245/45/17s on both the front and back, as I have found a good deal on them?
Cheers.

that makes little sense.

What do you mean by ditch, as in put 255 all round?
Whats the actual question really, there isnt one....

Yes, both 8.5 and 9.5 are acceptable wheel widths for 245/45/17 tyres, so you are fine to go ahead.

You are however kind of defeating the purpose of having narrower front wheels.

I thought it was fairly straightforward (kind of like the use of apostrophes).

Cheers for the responses!
