Hi guys, noticed quite a while ago that my height switch was broken and the car is stuck on high mode. The switch feels actually physically broken, as it toggles back and forth with no click. Anyone encountered this before and how hard is the switch to get at?

Hi Matthew,

This is a very common problem and you can take the switch out and glue it back.

Use this link to take the gear surround out:

http://soarercentral.com/sc-forum/messages/9739/9858.html?1124742724

When you got the gear surround off, you should be facing a rectangular black block( this is attached to the console bit).

Remove the block by carefully sticking a flat head screw driver down one side until the divets are free from the DASH bit on both sides, this requires a bit of twisting and levering.

Once free from the DASH bit, the switches are in open view and looking carefully you will notice that they are held there by pimple's for movement of the switch, yet again stick the screw drive in and pry it free, you will be faced with the button which has a tendency to fly off, and the little white rod that has snapped, simple glue the white rod onto where it was snapped off from and replace system.
