Hi all.
I'm confused about the TEMS/Airbag situation.
I have a 1991 Celsior, which I have always thought has TEMS... because it rides so so well.
It has an on/off switch labelled PIEZO TEMS which illuminates a dash light displaying four shocks. These shocks seem to light up along with the compression of the shocks while driving.
It has a switch on the dash that is labelled with what looks like ((o)) rotated 90 degrees. (ride hieght?? doesn't seem to do anything but beep)
It probably all sounds normal to someone else who owns one. The problem is, no airbags. I read on this site that airbags and TEMS go hand in hand.
I'm wondering if it could have been fitted with coils after airbag failure and still have all the plumbing for TEMS. And if so, is it still operational. Or did some come out like this. It really does seem to make a difference.
I have tried researching it, but it just gets more and more confusing as I can't find other examples of my setup.

If you look in the engine bay and look at where the Shock's are you should see if you have Tems or not , If you have Tems you will have a black cover over the shock and a wire coming out of it or just look behind the wheel and you will see the Airbag over the top half of the shock. Also with the Tems suspension you can hear the pump come one sometimes .
