I'll keep this short and sweet as I've got a tendancy to ramble on in my posts.
Basically, I'm the first owner of my JZZ30 in Australia and by the looks of it, the previous owner fitted some lowered springs as it looks lower than some other TT's I've seen on apparently stock springs.
Moving on, I'm quite happy with the rear ride height, but the front looks FAR too high as if it's got lowered springs on the back, but not the front.
So, my question is... is it legal / safe / OK for performance to possibly fit some slightly lowered springs to the front only of my car to drop it by 1"?
Or do I have to lower it evenly all around? Or will this ruin my handling keeping in mind I'm just a casual driver, not really interested in track days or anything major.
Thanks in advance.

You can just lower the front - I'm almost 100% sure its legal there's no way the cops could tell if you've just lowered part of the car or not and if its even all around then it will just be from the lowest point on your car that they would measure if they ever tried to defect you.

Back is lower, so what? GT style...hahaha. yeah right...looks crap!!
Morgs, make sure that the LOWERST point of your car is 10cm above the ground. That can be exhaust, chassis rail, muffler or anything, just make sure of that when choosing springs. Never fit a set of springs without knowing the exact finished ride height! coz, by then, it is too late. A "hit and miss" syndrome.
