I have a 92 Lexus SC400/Soarer with the switch on rather normal or higher air suspention, it works and when i flick it to high the car raises maybe an inch, is that all the standard raise it is meant to do?? Doesnt seem like much difference is it normal?

Its use is typically to help you negotiate steeper driveway or parking ramp entries and similar things, not to put you on stalks for bush-bashing. It seems quite effective for its purpose, in my case making the necessary difference to avoid scraping entering the garage (sloping driveway) at my previous house. I had to remember though, to flick the switch when I turned into our street to allow the necessary half minute for it to be ready.
