Ok so I started taking out my stock struts (non TEMS) so that I could have my king springs put on, and now I have a problem... All I'm looking to do is get the stock suspension back in for now, but I'm stuck with the strut not in or out...

The bottom bolt is out, and even with spring compressors, someone putting all their weight on the hub and a jack lifting the bottom of the strut up, I can't get it to line up to get the bolt through!

Any suggestions?! I can't even take it anywhere, as the strut is basically just wedged in there!

Front or rear - I assume front.

Have you tried disconnecting the swaybar to give you enough droop on the lower arm?

What Matt said, especially if you only have one side of the car jacked up...

Any chance of a picture so we can see where it is jammed? It is a little tricky, but doable. You might need to remove an extra part or two if you are stuck.

It's rear, and both sides are jacked up. I've disconnected the swaybar on the side that I was working on, but still no dice. Will try and get a photo up this afternoon; but any suggestions as to what else to remove?

Rear's are the easiest to do by far.

Hard to understand how you are stuck - refitting should be as simple as sliding the strut up into the strut tower then pushing down on the lower arm to put the strut over it.

Hopefully a pic will show the problem. Are you sure the strut is correctly seated into the tower?

Will need a picture. As Matt said the rears are usually dead easy.
