I spoke to a few guys who said it was pretty easy to change the steering rack bushes so I'm gonna give it a go BUT is there a tute floating around somewhere though so i don't balls it up.

There is but i forget where it is. But there really isn't much to it, and now that i've done it once. Doing it again will be piss easy.
I recall someone saying that done it with the rack still on the car by pressing in the bushes with fingers, but it's best to take the rack to somewhere with a hydraulic press to press the bushes in.
When i did it, i had replaced the steering rack altogether so I used a BIG VICE to push the bushes in. Do you intend to take the rack out as well?
Oh and i just noticed you have a uzz31 which is supposedly a bit different but still roughly the same procedure involved.
My car is in getting the LCA and Rear UCA bushes done at the moment. Just trying to get some info together before I attempt it. Might be ok because by the looks of it, my steering rack might need to be reco'd or replaced.
Where did you get yours done Matchy? Pedders want to charge me like $1000 for a replacement rack
