Hi Guys ill get right to the point. I go out today and as im goin out the driveway the car scrapes the driveway never happened before so i get out to see my worst fear frh airbag deflated so i sit an watch for a min to see whats happening and the pump engages an it pumps it up but when the pump stops you hear it releasing the air an it starts goin down. I thought it might be a hole in the airbag but if you watch it it seems to hold air for a second then it comes out. I was wondering if it could be seals an if so is this easier/cheaper to fix ??? any help would be appreciated cheers.

Possible case of people not bothering to read a badly presented post. :-(

You missed an a "e" in Shakespeare. hehe

Seriously though, I feel your pain owning an uzz31 myself.

There was a post where someone was using some sort of Araldite to seal a leak.
Do a search.
Having said that if it's an extensive crack this would be a long shot.
Best to consult a specialist.
When I was in Adelaide I used Steve Kramp from Manta Services.

Second hand Airbags can be sourced, though purchasing a hit and miss affair.
Try emailing Daniel Savage. <

Best of luck with it.

Would definitely take it to a mechanic who knows soarers/imports, get them to check it out for you. If you can get a 2nd hand strut for a reasonable price then get it and replace your faulty one.

You can also try a search on the site and find other possible alternatives to your problem.

Check this out Eugene.

After purchasing a new set of front air struts, I decided to give the araldite fix ago.It wasn't too successful, lasted a couple of weeks.

Or new struts,

http://www.chtoyota.com.au/parts.asp

Or secondhand,

If you can afford them get new TEMS air struts. I've got four new ones on mine... all it needs are new bushes and it'll feel brand new.

Thanks jose cant afford new ones. :-( but can get a second hand one toyota told me you cant get the parts to replace on it. Where would i find new bushes from ??? ive put some high strength epoxy on it and it has slowed it down alot but not stoped it. This is a temp fix obviously until i can get second hand one or come across the new bushes/seals it needs.
...Thanks again...

If that's the case I'd go and source some Konis or Bilsteins with some appropriate springs.

On my V8 I'm planning on getting some VFT bushes fitted (virtual carbon copy of the originals, search and you'll find) and some Daizen w/camber correction kit fitted to my turbo one.
