Does anyone know what is the expected wear of the rear ball joints. As in do they wear as quickly as the front LCA ones...Reason being I am replacing all the rear bushes with Vlamos ones and don't want to do all this to have the control arm ball joints fail a couple of months later and thus lose the bushes. I understand that it may come down to how the vehicle is driven, ride height etc. But am just wondering from factory specs do the rears wear as quick as the fronts?

Ball joints are non-servicable, so you don't lubricate them. I've never heard of a rear joint failing on a Soarer - sure it happens but I dont think its a huge problem. They don't get anywhere near the pounding that the front ones do.

Try these people, I had all mine done about 2 years ago and had no problems since. Not real expensive either. A Ball Joint Restorer Unit 2/ 15-19 Wylie St Toowoomba QLD 4350 ph: (07) 4632 3930 Motor Replacement Parts
