Can anyone reccomend someone in Perth that can respray Factory Rims to a glossy Black colour on a 2001 wrx? Have currently got a quote for 120 each rim, which i think is quite good, but if anyone else knows of something better please let me know. Cheers

i bet you can get them powdercoated for cheaper than that.

And i also bet you could paint them yourself for even cheaper ! Dont be afraid to give it a crack!

yeh.. i got some 16s powdercoated from the usual silver to a brilliant white. They also had some minor gutter rash which all got cleaned up in the process.

They sand blasted them, 'prepped' (whatever that means) and powdercoated. I think i paid about 40-60 per wheel... that was ages ago though.

When i went to them they had HEAPS of colours to choose from , even 3 shades of white!

Ive heard some wive's tales about powdercoated having a negative effect on the structural integrity of the wheel... but ive never seen or heard of any REAL accounts (too many mates of mates stories i think)
