I turn switch off, jack car up the air compressor started up, I had drained oil from car etc ( not related just an indication off time). It did it once before to when I replaced radiator top tank. I flicked the switch and it stopped. switch position on towards back/ off towards front, I presume thats right, cause when its in left position air susension goes up and down as normal.

Check that the switch is actually turning the system off. Drive off with it in the OFF position and you should get instant 'Klingon" warning. If not then there is a problem. First thing to do is reset the suspension computer which is done the same way as the others ie disconnect battery BUT to reset suspension computer the battery needs to be left disconnected for AT Least 15 minutes (unless 'Track Day link is in, actually it's suspension diagnostics link. Reset will be quicker with the link in.)
Did you jack it up straight away? the suspension computer stays on for another 3 minutes. Some one correct me if im wrong.
Neil excuse my ignorance when i forgot to mention the BUSHES are distorted. What do i need to replace on my rack (no i dont have boobs like you) now that its leaking?
Ill pass on the message to Niall
