Pretty much Paul.
You will need a few hex keys to unbolt the axles and the diff housing.
I had to drop the exhaust but mine is a custom setup.
Getting the tailshaft on and off the diff can be a bit of a challenge. I raised the diff a little on the jack then put the tailshaft onto the spigot on the diff flange then jacked it up into place.
Refill the new housing with standard gear oil and you are away and racing.

After having done this twice I have found it the easiest way.

Thanks!! tips like that'll hopefully save me alot of swearing and knuckle scrapping lol..
The diffs from an auto non turbo jza80 supra, code a01b think that has the 4.03 ratio so should make my gearing alittle taller, anyone know if it makes much difference?

only awkward thing was the weight of the thing
Hehe, i did mine WITHOUT a jack by myself on the ground !!! Dont ask how, but i did !
Definately a Torsen makes the driving experience more pleasurable in my opinion . I found the car corners flatter and better , and its very predictable in the wet too !

did mine on the ground as well, ended up balancing the diff on a trolley jack, sliding it under the car and tilting the front up into the tailshaft spigot thinghy. Then realised i couldn't lift the diff with one arm whilst sliding the trolley jack back so had to get the scissor jack out and slide that in next to the trolley jack to lift the rear of the diff upto the rear subframe.

Diff weights in at about 65kg.... heavy mofo!
Best way is to drop the exhaust if it is in the way and remove the small rear tunnel brace and get the nose of the diff in the tail shaft and jack it up whilst shifting the CV joints out of the way or clicking them in to position.
I've got the diff and GB remove/refit down pat now.... its all on auto pilot!
