Hello Folks,
I am about to change both of my front wheel bearing on my V8 Soarer and wondering if anybody's got any pointers/advise for me. Has anybody changed their wheel bearings recently? What sort of press (if at all you need one) is required to replace the bearing? Also does the controls arms have to come off the hub to replace the bearings?

Also I am upgrading my TEMS air suspension to TEIN Flex Coilovers + EDFC. Not 100% sure whether this is the right thing to do when looking at ride comfort and handling. Some on the forums suggest air struts is the best for ride comfort but other upgrade to coilovers for better handling (The new air sus technologies seems to have both but mine is 20 years old). Unless I try the coilovers with the right damping I cannot be sure which one I would prefer. I would like to know what bits of the TEMS systems needs to be disconnected (may be fuse and airpump and some sensors) to remove the air struts and replace them with the coilovers. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Hey Raj,

I changed my both front wheel bearings recently. You will need a ball joint separator to do the job otherwise forget it. Also try source a set of 2nd hand hubs and replace the whole hub. it will make life easier and a LOT CHEAPER.
