Hi all, I have an issue where a few months ago my front passenger air strut stopped raising & it stayed really low. I had the front two air struts replaced, but turned out that the air tube carrying air into the passenger side strut had its end broken off, so it wasn't making a proper connection. I bought the end part (connector) of the tube from a soarer owner & my mechanic managed to use that end with my air tube, & now the strut pumps up a bit more than before. Unfortunately, the car is still low on the front passenger side (ie. the front left hand side is lower than the front right hand side by about 3-5 cm i think). Currently i have the air suspension set to high. If i set to low, the right hand side front strut lowers considerably to the point where the front wheel rubs considerably on the guards when turning right (on the current high setting it still rubs the guard slightly when turning right). Does anyone have any idea if this lowering could be caused by something else, or could it still be that the airtube isn't sealing properly, & thus the the proper air compression inside the strut isn't created?
Could anyone recommend mechanics in Adelaide (near the city would be good ) who would have experience in fixing/ diagnosing soarer air suspension issues? Otherwise i might have to look at alternative suspension if no one can fix the issue.
Likewise any recommendations for good Mechanics in Adelaide who might be able to provide/ install & replace the air suspension to ie. supra suspension or coilovers?

The car has some sort of aftermarket controller, but i don't think it works as nothing really ever happened when you pressed the controller buttons/ switch. so the way to change the height of the car has been the stock normal/ high button.

disconnect the after market controller if it isn,t already, there are plenty of threads advising where it is and how to do it, quite a few guys on here have had pretty much the same problem.

So you're saying the aftermarket controller might have stuffed up & its influencing the compressors? The controller never did/ doesn't do anything with the compressors (can't hear turn on them when i fiddle around with the controller buttons). The car had this controller on when i bought it, will try to find a picture & post it up, not sure if its really a heigh controller...
Could it just be that one of the compressors is dying & not pumping up the LHS front strut?
Just had the car checked by my mechanic, and he said that the connection into the front air strut is good, so air goes in allright, but mentioned that it could be the electronic component of the strut which could be at fault and recommended going to an electrician, but wasn't really sure what the electrician could check for. Any recommendations on what the electrician could check for?
