i got a set of tein ha spec coilovers and they seem great, i do a fair bit of *spirited* driving around my neck of the woods, you have to play around with the settings to find the right ones that suit you , but i like em !!

TEINs have taken care of my suspension needs on my TT Soarer for almost 6 years - initially HRs for the first year or so and HAs for the rest. Best of both worlds for street and track use and TEIN have a long reputation for reliability in serious motorsport use in Japan.

Like wise Tein HA's most sure footed beast I have ever driven. ( leaving out one R33 GTR and a porsche many years ago but they weren't that far ahead of the soarer)
TEIN Super Streets - bought new, came set up with valving appropriate for Australian roads (or so they tell me). Quiet, adjustable, improved the handling a treat - love them. Reasonably priced from Neil Griffiths as well.
HKS HiperMax II... very comfortable, 30 way adjustment if required (haven't played with mine yet), and are only slightly firmer than stock on standard settings.

I will be getting Cusco Zero II as soon as my funds permit. I have had Tein for years and years and have Tein HA in my Soarer at the moment and find them to be pretty good handling vs comfort wise.

Trev........The Tein HRs certainly make some knocking noise in the rear. It's not too bad though and quietens down when they get warmed up. We've got a set in the wife's TT. Great for handling though.

the tiens do knock but you have to be giving them a fair flogging before the do, small price to pay when the car handles like its on rails, besides thats what the cd player if for

it depends wat you want out of your car when choosing coilovers, there really isnt much point in having coilovers in a car as a daily, the spring rates are usually stiffer and the dampening rates are much stiffer also, after all coilovers where designed as a racing shock offering alot of adjustment, teins are very good i had them in my gz20 for a while and now have the new super drifts in my jzz30 with custom 18kg/mm springs front and 16kg/mm rears which makes it very very un road friendly but a dream on the track, its better off to get short stroke shocks and custom springs for normal driving
