Every time I turn the steering wheel it makes a noise.
What could be wrong?

What type of noise?
Grinding? Clicking/knocking?
Any vibrations?

A grinding like noise and lots of vibration. The mechanic said there might be some air trapped?

Sounds like power steering fluid is low or theres a split in one of the pipes.

Power steering fluid is all good and recently had the holes in my pipes patched up, plus steering rack replaced.

Wheels could be rubbing fouling on chassis or suspension when turning.
Excessive play in ball joints or bushes maybe.
Does it happen when turning at all speeds?
What about if you turn the wheels to full lock while stationary?

Despite the work done on your steering, it's still possible there is air in the P/S system.
Check in the reservoir for any froth or low level.
