Hi guys, some of you would know that my car was on defect and many things had to be done for it to get it back on the road. One of them was a leaking pinnion seal. What happen was i sent my car in to get the seal replace, along with the upper control arms bushes, front sway bar bushes and the steering rack bushes. I got superpro fitted. They guys said that they replaced some seals and o rings in the rack. when i got my car back, i noticed that the steering was more responsive in a way but what i noticed most was it was more heavy then before. I thought ok, ill live with it...
2 Weeks later (now) I noticed that the steering got more heavy and when I turned the steering wheel, it goes soft then heavy. Very Very similer to having air in the system. I have checked all levels of the PS and everything seems to be fine...
Did they stuff up something? Or is my pump on the way out? (pump looks to be recon when i got it, no leaks and came with new hoses)

Superpro = poly right? Poly bushes are the wrong thing to run in a Soarer - stick with rubber bushes. Not sure if that's why your steering is going funny, but pretty much everyone on here who has tried plastic bushes in a Soarer has regretted it.

Well, i went with superpro as i had no choice at the time due to defect and money and i needed the car back on the road asap. I now have VFT front endbushes sitting at my desks waiting to be put in soon.

They probably didn't plug the solenoid back in which will make the steering heavy as it has nearly no power assist.
Tom, can you take a photo and attach it here for the exact location of the electrical plug on the chassis on the inside of the RHS front wheel? I'm afraid mine is caused by this too after the mechanic replaced with new power steering and alternator.
