I'm currently on the lookout for some chrome multispoke rims with really really deep dish to go along with my vertex ridge bodykit. I want something similar to the attached images. Does anyone know what they are or anything similar? Budget is around 6k.

not generally, garsons may be an acception. But generally it requires contacting the manufacturer and asking to get the wheels custom made. Say you want volk VSXX but want alot more dish, you can ask for a custom offset to get that dish. Not cheap, very expensive haha

depends if you've got a decent rack lol jk
any reason why you want to go so wide at the front? If i was to go wide body, i'll get 10inch wide at the front with negative offsets and something like 13inch in the rear just to say I've got 13inch wide rims haha

or something like this would be tough on a widebody soarer. this set is going for 3.3k

It's a sad day when you realise your wheels cost more than some Soarers for sale out there.

Yeah, I always laugh when I see cars that are clearly worth less than the rims they are riding on - but you are right Vinh, the day is fast approaching if not already here, that this applies to Soarers!

What sort of car value to rim value ratio would be acceptable so I wouldn't receive giggles from fellow Soarer owners? Are we talking a 1:4 ratio? Or is that still a bit high? Is there a page online or something that states official rim value in accordance to market value?

You won't receive giggles Warren, at least I don't think you would anyway. I have 20" Volks on mine and no one's "giggled" at me (yet).

My brother had a $500 ke70 and had rims worth double his car and he never got a "laugh" or any bad comments at all. Even the cops that pulled him over gave good comments about his wheels.

I think as long as your car is safe, your panels are straight and your paint is good, you are alright. Its when you have mismatched paint, broken lights, windows that don't wind up, brakes the squeal metal on metal, cut springs, little kids in the back with no car seats - but you have a huge set of $3000 chromies, (with the most budget set of tyres you could find to fit) - on - that's when you know your priorities are warped. Soooo many cars here in Hamilton like this.

Well, I think most of us have been down that road when we were younger. I think $10,000 in a year was as much as I ever got to on modifying a car though - and I regretted it the following year when I sold the same car for only $4000 - bought it for $3000, spent $10000 on it, and only got $1000 back - really not smart!

Yeah, I had enough of the old lemon and all the work I was putting into it was driving me bonkers - plus it used to scare the out of me (220 bhp and 900kg's on very primitive braking and suspension tech is frighting) so I got rid of it and went Japanese. Realistically I was never going to get the money back, and the car still needed another 5 to 10 spending on it to finish it properly.
