just wondering if supra and late model soarer suspension is interchangeable? ie: can you get shocks from a soarer and drop them into a mk4 and vice versa?

Yes, everything is compatible. However, you need to pair the shocks and springs due to slight dimensional differences -- I believe the OEM shock body off the Soarer is slightly longer than the Supra ones.

So bottom line is if you're putting in MKIV Supra shocks, you should use MKIV springs as well. Hope this clears things up for you.

You should search, this has been covered quite a few times before....

The suspension is interchangable in that complete assemblies can be swapped between the JZA80 and the UZZ3x and JZZ3x but you can't mix and match springs and shocks on the rear.

The front springs and shocks are identical but the rears are different so you cannot use JZZ rear springs and JZA rear shocks together.
