Hi all,
I am hoping that someone somewhere can help me. I put my car into Better Brakes on Sat for new pads on front, guy did a great job took all the care in the world except for one thing.... he didn't tighten the cap properly. Now one has come off and is lost (Car now officially looks crap). I have included a photo (sorry it too is crap), I am trying to get (at any cost) the centre locking nut along with the perforated disc that hides the wheel nuts. On the nut it says "The great reverence for almic wiser" with the 1/2 horse/man with bow and the name "WISER" there is a sticker inside the wheel that says made by "TANEISHA" they are 17" if there is anyone who can help me to find one or is able to translate Japanese so I can get one from O/S I will be eternally in your debt I have found a site with a wire wheel with the same picture on the nut but different type nut? Any help gratefully acknowledged.

Good luck finding a replacement centre cap, could be hard to come by and by the price of Japanese ones usually aren't cheap either.

I figured as much but then I'm not paying for it the bill will be going to Better Brakes.
Surely these parts would still be available it's not a vintage car? besides what alternative do I have tell the guy sorry mate you'll just have to buy me 4 new wheels, I think I know what he'll tell me.

Problem with Rims Grant is they make a certain run of them (Say 50,000 rims) then they move onto another style..
So mate..YES..They do become vintage.. :-(

Anybody got any suggestions???? I have found the site for Taneisha but I can't read Japanese if I could send an email with a picture maybe they could help? But I guess it would need to be in Japanese or they may not read it.. If someone can read and write Japanese your help would be appreciated.

Spam? I get them too and I don't know so they all end up in the spam basket.

Oh on the website (for your wheels) try a web translation or post the link up, we might be able to find the info for you.

Yeh already tried that Haydn, even went to the car yard I bought the car from as he imports them and another one who said he would ask a few people he knows who wrecks imports, part of the problem is no-one really gives a sh1t, so trying to get tyre places to offer assistance is hard unless I want to buy 4 new wheels which is what happened once, guy spent all of .01 seconds telling me how he can't help me (Didn't even look at alternatives although I thought there was a wheel with something that may have fitted) then the next 5 mins trying to sell me new wheels

BTW thanks for the email Stevo I will have a look this morning, I'm not worried if the sticker is different so long as the nut will fit the thread. Mind you if anyone is interested I did send an email in english to a guy in Japan who exports used vehicles and got a reply in english.
Web site is
http://www.used-vehicle.jp
He couldn't help me but at least he took the time to reply.
