do you think a "tac weld/braise" will compromise the LCA. It is only a "small tac" job, not a major weld of 2 heavy parts.There is no load on the lug, so a light tac is all that is required.

Matt: Yes i'm intending to get a bracket CNC milled to fit the arm.

tom: yes any welding will cause a stress in the cast arm that could start a fracture.

hi allan, i am in middle of doing this myself. I have bowed to your knowledge re welding, and have made a bracket out of 90" aluninum that i will attach with 2 "radiator hose brackets"

will let you know the final outcome.

as long as it's solid, while there is not a lot of load on the sensor arm a small movement will make a large difference to ride level
