Ali for your rear to wear out faster you must have a lead foot. My fronts wear faster and not uniform wear, the inside wears faster even with wheel alignment every 15,000 kms.

I forgot how damn good it feels to drive on brand new tyres!
The Proxies 4's always feel that good Still get a thrill out of mine when I plant it on a corner that my previous tyres would have let go on, and it just grips, so I poke it some more, and it still grips!

The Maxxis I bought were good value, lots of silicone in the z1's, and they were cheap a couple of years ago at $170 for a 235/45/17. The v1's were $149.
IIRC they kicked butt in a motor magazine test up against the big brand/big price tag tyres.

i use federal super steels 595's 235 17 40 fronts and 275 40 17 rears, got all four for $600, lots of grip at a bargin price worth every cent if you ask me.
