Hi all,

Have had a Soarer for the last 2 years and am still pretty clueless as to its workings.I have the V-8 Non-Turbo Version.

On my Service last year, I was told that the front Left Suspension was leaking and needed replacing.
I have been working towards saving up enough money to get the work done.
Would somebody be able to help me with the following?

A) A good mechanic to work on my soarer for regular servicing as well as the suspensions in Adelaide.

b) How to go about sourcing the parts for the suspension change. Reading the blog, there seems to be a certain 'Andrew' who helps source them.

Any help is much appreciated!!!

anil,
what suspension do you have??

if you have air suspension, it will cost about $700 a strut.

otherwise coilovers , eg bc racing, are about $1200 for the set of 4 if you want to change from air suspension or do not have it.

Assuming this is an air set up I would try and source a second hand strut in good nick or try and get yours rebuilt.

There are plenty of good workshops here in adelaide,

Morpowa
Boost Worx
Turbo Tune
Graeme West Workshop
Manta Racing Services

Any of these shops know what they are doing and will be able to help you get repairs/replacement units if necessary. Or ditch the air and go coil overs as mentioned above.

Good Luck

I had leaky airbags and replaced them with a couple of second hand jobs, but in the end I went adjustable coil overs, since then I've added whiteline front and rear sway bars, Love it.
