Let me explain!

After reversing my car and putting it back in drive and moving forward a few metres i hear this 'clunk clunk' coming from the front suspension somewhere. Almost as if a single clunk is emitted by each side(driver/passenger)

It only happens after i've been going backwards and then begin to roll forward again. Therefore it only happens in carpark situations.

Is this common or even normal or is it a symptom of worn bushes or similar? Appreciate everyone's views.

Brake pads moving in calipers, generally more of a clicking sound though.

I had a noise like that a few months ago it was the front lower control arm bushing that were completely worn out, almost sound like a metal to metal knock noise.

LCA's are expensive from castle hill toyota!

Clicking, clunking.. i don't know the difference.

A uk site, cheaptoyotaparts.co.uk has these at a far more reasonable price.

Thank you everyone for your views. Will get this sorted shortly

Just to update you guys:

My soarer just had it's first service by Niall of bond autotech.

Thankfully it is in fact just the front brake pads moving around in the calipers. Brett you were right on the money.

Service was cheap and thorough too. Soooo many soarers there- although for some reason they were all green except for mine.
