so i broke a tooth of my Kaaz 2 way and im looking for some info one were i can buy another gear set from. has anyone got any info of anywhere in australia that sell them? from what ive read any 8" toyota v6 or turbo car use the same set.

so you need a ring gear and pinion, 4.1 ratio? new or second hand?

4.1 or 4.3 would be even better. im chasing a new set.

some hiluxs had a 4.3 ratio, but i doubt that the hilux stuff bolts into the soarer housing.

They have 4.1, 4.3, 4.55, 4.85.....I know that the Californian mechTech TT/1UZ-FE in 2001 had a 4.27 diff ratio fitted, but whether it was out of a hi lux is ??????

The US non-turbo pre '95 JZA80 had a 4.3 (or thereabouts) ratio diff which will bolt-in
