Umm, yeah thanks for that Matt, I did see that review. I have also read some good reviews. Gotta wonder about just driving out of a carpark and the coilover fails catastrophically. Methinks there was more to that story he wasn't telling. Anyways, add on US$300 for freight and they're not so cheap. Think I'll just source something local.

I heard the BC coils from just jap are ok.
Im sure someone has heard of these and add a comment.
I am using BC Gold coilovers in my UZZ31 and my brother is using the same in his UZZ30. I have done numerous track days and my car has gotten me to and from work each day, I have had them in for about 18 months and my brother has had his for almost 2 years.
Thanks James, I am leaning towards the BC golds at this stage., mainly for local availability and ease of fitting. I'm also looking at building some Billsteins as described in: http://soarercentral.com/sc-forum/messages/30604/336623.html?1310269480 Just not too sure on spring rates, the ones recommended seem a little soft for a TT. They are 8kg/fr 4kg/r.
Reading lots of good thing about this setup, cheaper than pretty much anything else out there too. For an even better write up google search 'the gixxer_drew suspension thread' on supraforums.
When I brought the coils I just asked for ones for a Supra. I am unsure of the spring rates but they seem fine, only when I went to install them I put a bit of pre-load on the springs so I think they could do with being better for the heavier soarers but still as far as how they have gone so far for what I paid, they are doing what I need so I can't complain.
It's probably more of a question for the guys who've built these billstein hypercoil setups. In the supraforum build thread the guy says that if you want to run heavier springs you need to get the shocks re-valved to suit, and if lowering you may need helper springs. I guess I'm just wanting to know if going to 12kg/fr 8kg/r requires shock re-valving. I don't really want to go much lower than stock as I believe that the supra coilovers are already around 25-30mm lower than stock soarer.
