Looking at some Lexus wheels:
Lexus 18" Wheels and Tyres
114.3 stud pattern, so will fit most imports.

Rim size : 18x7.5 +35 114.3PCD
Tyres : Maxxis 235/55r18

Are they correct for a 1991 SC400?

Those would suit the soarer quite well.

AAAAAH... Wheels will fit, tyres are completely wrong however... way too high profile on the tyres

Sorry, didnt even spot that until I saw the pic.

You'll probably need to fit a 40 - 45 series tyre to those wheels to retain a similar rolling diameter to your current wheels

easy way to check, get your current tyre size and then compare them on the miata.net tyre calculator

can anyone explain what the stock size of tyres are for a 2000 Soarer ? I have just bought a soarer which is fitted with 205/55R16 tyres which, apart from looking very ordinary cause my speedo to be completely out - about 7% out.
When I check tyre sizes by lake and model I am told that the standard size is 225/55R16 but the tyre placard inside the driver's door shows the following:

there is over 3% difference in the rolling diameter between the 225/55 and the 225/60 so which is it that will make the speedo accurate ?

The door placard is correct. I'm running 255/50 R16's and my speedo is basically spot on, at least when I drive past those speed signs that show you how fast you are going it always matches up.

Yeah i noticed that when i put the wheel next to mine :-)
Half the reason for getting them was being able to get the tyres and use them as well.. but yeah.. not
turns out they're off an RX350 or something similar

Chris....how did it work out fitting the Lexus RX350 wheels? What tyres have you put on them?

I'm looking at some at the moment and thought they may be very heavy as they are off a 4WD
