Hi everyone.. I know there is a lot of info on the site about air suspension issues, in fact there is so much that it is taking too long to sift through them all!!
Anyway, I have a UZZ31 and the car has been fine up until today. For the last week or so I had it parked on my front lawn which is ona slight hill and not level in most paces. I was driving the car on a fairly low setting - I have an aftermarket datasystems height controller - The setting was on 7 Front and 8 rear. Anyway, I drove it today non stop for about an hour and the car stayed low, even though I adjusted the settings back to 5 Front and 6 Rear. When I reached my destination I let the car run for about 3 minutes or more but the compressor still didn't kick in to raise the car up. On the way home, about half way, the car started to raise up, but would intermitently, lower and stay that way for a while, the raise up again. I could see all this action because the height controller I have has an active bar sensor which shows the 'height' in real time. After I got home I parked the car, let it sit for 4 hours then drove it again. It continuedued to change heights and when I had it parked on a flat surface I notice that the left hand side was right down (not completely deflated, just tyres to the top of the wheel arch on both sides, and the drivers side was at the hright it should have been according to what I had it set on the controller.
Now I haven't started looking around for a problem yet but just thought i'd get opinions from those who have had a similar problem as to where I should start.
On a side note, I also have a funny sound that sometimes comes from the rear when I go up a driveway diagonally I sometimes get a loud noise that sound like a spring decomprssing (if that makes sense?) Sorta sounds like a loud *boong*.. lol
Any help or advice is welcomed as I was planning to get 20's next week but see little point until this issue is resolved. I have only owned the car for about 3 months but all has been great until now
