It'll be 4.1 same as a TT, but most likely an open diff, not LSD.
It's slightly shorted than the stock V8 diff, so you will get slightly better accelleration, but a couple of hundred revs higher cruising down the freeway.

found another one: a Mk3 supra torsen LSD and the guy said it would go on my V8. Is this correct? It only has 105,000 klm. Thanks again for the help Cheers John

Thanks Blake, and thanks Dan for your regular input. It looks like the shaft bolts on a mark 3 would be different at least. I also looked at a non torsen set up with subframe, shafts, brakes, but not sure if the 32 with its rear wheel steer would take a normal subframe? This is all fun not having even looked at the 32 yet as I am must preparing for when I come home to get it all up and running as soon as possible. Cheers John

Hi Dan, I got an open V8 diff at a good price to get things running and am looking at a torsen, just confirming that it is either an A01B or a A02B before buying. I found a table on soarer world that helped me figure things out along with some info on a previous post by someone SC that told me how to read the transaxle code. Cheers John
