I have just modified both the large and small accumulators on the suspension control valve of my 32.

I have removed an end from each and threaded the cylinder, making up a new screw on end cap for each. Both pistons have had new 'O' rings fitted and cylinders pressure tested to 3500 and 2000 psi respectively.

To make the units more serviceable I have extended the valve fittings so they can be reached quite easily in situ.

Both modified cylinders fit back into their position on the valve body with minimal adjustment.

That is good news for 32 owners Daryl, and going by the quality of your other Soarer fix's, there should be some owners asking how much to fix their ones for them.

Just out of interest Daryl, did these accumulators have any gas in them before you disassembled them and what pressures did you charge them to?
Also now that you have done this, would you recommend cutting open the accumulator or just fit a service port. I guess in their original build state its impossible to know if there is any nitrogen left?
One last question. Did you notice any change after the re-charge?
